💡 Ideas & Feedback
New to Cookonut Premium? The free trial lets you explore all Premium features before committing. Here are the most common questions.
How Long Is the Free Trial?
The free trial lasts 7 days. During the trial, you get full access to all Premium features, including unlimited AI imports, cooking mode with timers, Smart Meal Planning, nutrition info, and recipe translation.
Will I Be Charged?
You won’t be charged during the trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, you pay nothing. If you don’t cancel, your subscription automatically begins at the end of the trial at the plan price you selected (monthly or annual).
How Do I Start a Free Trial?
- Open Cookonut → Settings → Account
- Tap Upgrade to Premium
- Select a plan — if you’re eligible, the free trial offer will appear
- Confirm through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)
How Do I Cancel the Free Trial?
Cancel the same way you’d cancel any subscription:
- iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Cookonut → Cancel
- Android: Google Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Cookonut → Cancel
See our detailed cancellation guides for iOS and Android.
Can I Get a Second Free Trial?
Free trials are typically available once per Apple ID or Google account. If you’ve previously used a trial, you won’t be offered another one.
What Happens When the Trial Ends?
If you keep the subscription, nothing changes — Premium features continue seamlessly. If you cancel or the trial expires without payment, your account reverts to the Free plan. Your recipes are always safe regardless.
