💡 Ideas & Feedback
Canceled your Premium subscription? Here’s exactly what changes and what stays the same.
Right After Canceling
Nothing changes immediately. You keep full Premium access until the end of your current billing period. The exact date is shown in your subscription details (Settings → Account).
When Your Billing Period Ends
Your account switches to the Free plan. Here’s what that means:
What You Keep
- All your saved recipes — nothing is deleted, ever
- Your cookbooks, tags, and organization — everything stays in place
- Basic meal planning — you can still plan meals for the week
- Cooking mode — all timers and step-by-step features still work
- Grocery lists — still generated from your meal plan
What You Lose
- Unlimited AI imports — you go back to 10 free credits per month
- Advanced meal plan features — randomizer and multi-week planning
- Priority support — standard support response times apply
- Future Premium features — new Premium-only features won’t be available
Your Recipes Are Safe
This is the most important thing: your recipes are never deleted when you cancel. Even if you had 500 recipes saved with Premium, they all stay in your collection. You can still view, cook, edit, and share them on the Free plan.
Coming Back to Premium
Changed your mind? You can re-subscribe anytime:
- Open Cookonut → Settings → Account
- Tap Upgrade to Premium
- Choose your plan and confirm
Your previous settings and organization are restored instantly.
Thanks for your feedback! We're glad it helped.
